Favorite Animals
The favorite animals of Emily, Ruby, John and Eric are dog, cat, monkey and horse.
Read the clues to find out each person's favorite animal.
1. One of the boy's favorite animal is a dog.
2. John's favorite animal loves to eat banana and climbs on trees.
3. Emily favorite animal has the same number of letter as her name.

Answer key:
Clue no. 1 since one of the boys favorite animal is a dog, that means the girls do not like dogs. So we can cross out the girls in the chart.
Clue no. 2 since we know John's favorite animal loves to eat banana and climb trees, we know John's favorite animal is a Monkey. Therefore, Eric favorite animal is a dog.
Now there only 2 animals lefted and 2 girls.
Clue no. 3 Emily's favorite animal has the same numbers of letter as her name, therefore Emily favorite animal is a horse. So Ruby's favorite animal is a cat.
